10 Breathtaking Photos that Would Convince You to Travel to New York!

New York is one of my favorite cities in the world. I would love to visit it one day when I save up enough money. I don't know about you, but New York seems to have this mysterious allure. Perhaps it is the energy that comes from the magnificent buildings and the giant electric billboards. These inanimate objects seem to emanate life. I can't help but marvel at the progress of human ambitions.

The Statue of Liberty was French's gift to United States on October 28, 1886 to honor the Union Victory in the American Civil War and the end of slavery. The statue is a Roman goddess called Libertas who bears a torch and a tablet with the date of the American Declaration of Independence inscribed on it. Interesting fact, the statue had survived two world wars. Amazing isn't it? One may find its miraculous survival a symbol of freedom not yielding to totalitarianism.

Central Park located in middle-upper Manhattan, New York City. It is the most visited park in United States. It's one of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen. The pictures of this place is stunning throughout four seasons. Each season creates a whole new experience to the park. It is akin to the Garden of Eden compared to our local parks in Singapore aside from our Botanical Gardens. The park seems like the perfect place to unwind during the weekends. Perhaps a picnic on the lush green pastures with your loved ones or simply go for a run to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Central Park.

New York is the perfect place for urban shutterbugs. The city is filled with buildings of different heritage, from the Victorian era to modern skyscrapers designed by architects from around the world. Speaking of skyscrapers, the photo above is impressive right? I always wanted to try taking photos like this. It must be so thrilling to stand on top of the highest building in New York overlooking the city, just like Batman!

Time Square is a major commercial intersection in Midtown Manhattan. Brightly adorned with billboards and advertisements, Time Square is sometimes referred to as The Crossroads of the World. It is one of the world's most visited tourist attractions. And it is also the perfect place to visit during Christmas this year. If you have not tried out ice skating you could do so at Bryant Park's Winter Village. Afterwards, you could go Christmas shopping or you could indulge in sweet treats sold by the food vendors, both of which are located in the village.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a penthouse in New York that has such a spectacular view overlooking the river and the city? It is always a dream of mine to have an apartment right on top of a building in New York. It would be so awesome to have your friends over for dinner and watch the sun set while listening to some soothing music.
